Mill bath
A warm pool where the mill wheel used to turn, a steam hut, and a cold trough fed off the cut. Included with every cottage.
What is in there
- Warm pool held near thirty-six degrees, long enough for eight strokes and no more.
- Cedar steam hut, plain, with benches on both walls.
- Cold trough at about twelve degrees, straight off the mill leat.
- Robes, towels, and water. No treatment list and nobody selling one.
Hours and rules
Open 06:30 to 21:30 for staying guests. Swimwear in the pool, robes on the hooks, quiet from eight. Children until six, with an adult in the water.
This spa has no connection to the weigh house. Using one has never required, implied, or discounted the other.
